When most AI tools see a student struggling with a concept, they hand over the answer. Thea does the opposite. It asks another question. That sounds like a small distinction. It isn't. And on June 2nd, 2026, it became a billion-question distinction.
Thea officially served its one billionth practice question, reached in less than three years since launch. The milestone is worth pausing on, not just because of the number, but because of what the number represents: a billion moments where a student chose to actually learn something instead of just looking up the answer.
